We are seeking flooring installers at National Apartment Flooring (NAF) in your area! We have daily work in carpet, plank, vinyl, and mixed flooring. NAF employs all our flooring installers, and you will not be a contractor, meaning you will also be eligible for benefits. NAF pays our installers for overtime work and adjusts pricing based on certain projects. We also provide all sundries, supplies, and certain types of equipment as needed. Job Duties

Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, and plank.

Prepare the work area by removing old flooring, cleaning and leveling the surface, and
ensuring proper subfloor preparation.

Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the space accurately.

Install flooring according to schematics and manufacturer instructions

Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks.

Repair or replace damaged flooring as needed.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects.

Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience as a flooring installer or in a related field such as maintenance -person, carpentry,
or remodeling is preferred.

Must have dependable truck or large vehicle

Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and follow instructions accurately.

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in flooring installation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., rolls of carpet or boxes of tiles). -Knowledge of floor care and
maintenance techniques are a plus.
